I wouldn't recommend that you create fake profiles at all due to the fact that real members can find our it. Imagine that you have more than 1000 fake members and they don't reply to real members.
I would recommend that you do SEO and promote your web site. Start with your friends invite them first to your web site.

Please try to understand that shout-box can be used for spam purposes. As Emil posted there maybe a lot of "cheap blah blah" and other useless posts.

Carl, shoutbox is a small chat box usually on the front page where you can find quick posts from other members.
Imagine that you have new site visitors and they see "cheap blah blah" "increase your blah blah" just on the front page.)
