double IP-adress warning
I think we need a warning (or something like that) when someone makes a profile with an IP-adress that already exists.
Some people keep on making new profiles when their test-period is over, so they always have a profile without paying.
Right now we are working on integrating the anti-fraud solution into SkaDate. We believe it will solve most of the problems listed here.
We will update you on the status shortly.

Note also it would be nice to have a profile view of members using the same Ip address. Where admin know what users have the same Ip side by side view of users.

I would like to know when members create multiple profiles to use website, or share an IP address with other users. I really think it might help to know when the same Ip address is used over and over.

Add same email adress with this and it may detect scammers using same IP address. Scammers want to contact people direct and not on site so they use the same email addess for a while

Too many times members start a new account when promotional time run out, so double IP address is beneficail, however at the same time double e-mail address warning should be implemented at the same time. Block members with out valid e-mail address. Site should have auto e-mail verification if double IP occurs. Auto e-mail verification would send an email to verify user before account would become active. therefore not assigning a membership number or anything, but be placed in to pending membership.

As long as it only gives the admin a warning. We have to remember that some uses dynamic and other uses static IP adresses.

The admin should have the option to allow the same IP for some members, but it isn't common that users use an internet-cafe or register from work. They register from home, because other poeple should not notice, where they sign in.
And if the IP is saved only 7 or 14 days, other users can sign in, even they get a used IP. -

The datingsites in Europe that I know have double-IP warnings to avoid that the same members keep on making test-profiles to look who is on the site and to look at (sometimes nude) photo's ... .

Most cases registered with the same IP are that the registrations are from the same person. Our sites are not popular like Twister and Face book. It is rare that two persons in one family register on the same site,

In the version I have I do not have member verification nor does it offer Honesty Online background check service. And it does not provide warnings about the same IP being used in mulitple user accounts, And I still believe when the same IP is registered more than 1 time there should be fees charged and applied to users account. This would help stop the same user creating mutilple accounts and using the system for free when subcription should be in place for the user.

Dear Ed,
At the moment there is a member verification system in SkaDate. On top of that, we have integrated an Honesty Online background check service.

Double Ip address warning should require user to pay Identification fee to verify user. Admin can apply fee to user account if user is authenticated, in the event an internet cafe is cause of double IP registration.

On our site everyone gets 8 days free test-membership to test the site. We notice that some members make an new profile after 8 days (with new emailadress). After 8 days again a new profile ... and so on. So they can be on the site forever without paying and we will never know it, because we can't check their IP.

That's true, but I would only give the "double IP-warning" in the Admin panel, so the Admin can have a look and try to find out what's going on. Not only IP of making the profile, but als the IP of login.
On our datingsite it's really becoming a problem.
