  Hello critical,

  The shoutbox feature is disabled by default. So if you feel that it will affect your site in a negative way, even despite the badwords filter, you can simply leave it disabled.

  I like this feature but it should be integrated with showing more member photos.

  Too bad this is at the bottom of priority - it's a pretty cool feature to have members get involved a lot more.

  This suggestion will not be implemented in the nearest revision, and consideration is postponed until we implement high priority features.

  If you can't wait you can implement shoutbox for your own site as a custom programming modification.

  Sorry but you must pay for this site's the shoutbox is at the homepage first you must login and become a payed member to post on the shoutbox.

  so you can not come in to see the shoutbox live when you are no member so see the screens a give you 3 screen examples at

  I think that said enough the screens so you get an impression

  I hope in the future we get a option for a shoutbox in the skadate software

  yeah i've seen this feature on modelmayhem.com before - all rules are implemented just as mentioned by sdesign.

  Great idea and really needs to be implemented.

  Placement: It should placed only on the home page (once users log in) and should coincide directly with membership plans.

  Rules of Usage: The higher the membership the more often you can post shout outs.
  Shout outs can only be made by members and have a time limit (so free members can post a message to community every 30 minutes, regular members every 15 minutes and vip members every 5 minutes and so on).

  Automatic: Before user can submit their shoutbox message, they should be notified that this message needs to be "clean" and rid of bad language if not they will be banned for a few hours from the shoutbox. Also inform them that this message will be blasted for that online community to see - so "first impressions" are important.
  Messages should automatically be checked to ensure that there's no "bad" words being used. and if so block/remove message and warn user and ban them from messaging for a few hours.

  Text Only Shout box: Remove smiley face, html/css options. ONLY text upto 50 words (sort of like a facebook status for all)

  Current Example:
  This feature is currently being used by ModelMayhem.com (simply go to website you can see the sample)

  Hope this is implemented soon cause it's an awesome feature!

  Milko, you showed an example of a shoutbox functionality. I know what it is and what I actually asked for was an example of _sites_ where shoutbox works as intended - showing good quality, activity, and engagement.

  A can answer where "Shout Box" feature is implemented, but it will be the advertaisment of compatittors, so I will not :)
  The shout box feature should be improved. User can add the photo + some text (shout) at the title page. But it shoulв be a payed service. So, it avoids the spam at add the charge for owners of site. It is implemented in every russian dating site.

  Shoutbox seems nice.
  My idea: bad words filter enabled also on the shoutbox and maybe profile message filter also. Or maybe another filter. So a post 1st has to be reviewed?

  Hi Tim,

  I never had problems with my shoutbox on my other site for 3 years
  The members on my site like the shoutbox

  No postings like bla bla other useless posts.

  I hope in the future we get a option for a shoutbox in the skadate software

  Hi Milko.
  Please try to understand that shout-box can be used for spam purposes. As Emil posted there maybe a lot of "cheap blah blah" and other useless posts.

  Carl, shoutbox is a small chat box usually on the front page where you can find quick posts from other members.
  Imagine that you have new site visitors and they see "cheap blah blah" "increase your blah blah" just on the front page.)

  It was a question for everyone. :-)

  Our members use the chat or "latest activity" in stead of the shout box ... when they have something to say ... but I have no experience with shoutboxes.

  This Suggest is for skadate site owners why so weird answer yours i think you don't like a shoutbox I do not know why.
