  Hey this is a great Idea, and I wonder why it was not done from the beginning. Having a fund raiser for both admin and members could rock members into the next world.No one offers a fund raiser for capital gain for website maintenance or members to ask for donations for their cause.

  Let the site admin keep a portion of donation received for members as administrative fee for use of this feature. Site donations would be great as long as the admin has the ability to approve or reject donation request that members are seeking money, as well as dollar amount.. This site donation feature should only be allowed for subscribers not free members.

  site donations would be cool as a fund raiser for both admin and members and allow votes/comments from other members, Also Paypal is a good Idea to accept money, but other payments types is a good thing too. Allow points to be added to members making donation to fund raiser. Also make it show member making donation or member could remain Anonymous

  Site donations is a great idea that would be beneficial to owners of the sight as well as allow clients to accept donations for thier own needs. In some cases single parents need funds to take care of children or other needs. If site donations were implimented to allow admin and clients to receive donations for various things, such as membership, exspences, or what ever. There would be benefits for everyone including adding points for donors to do things with that member.

  When a website is able to accept donations from clients and or the public for various needs like website maitainace, schools, non-profit orgs, ect the website owners overhead cost is subsidized by public lowering cost of ownership for the website owner. The website owner is able to set amount of money needed and decription of needs , time the donation are being accepted (days) and have a payment processing through paypal or other is a big asset for both website owner and clients. Note configuration is done through the admin panel. Also it makes clients happy when thier able to setup donation request as well.
