I would like to send a professional looking html mail. Currently they are too simple and text-content is poor; this should not be messages that look like they were send from an MSN user.
As a manager I want to know exactly all content of those system mails and be able to control them easily. I have spend many hours on implementing my html emails into the admin section (languages>mail_template), to many.
I think this could be made easier. It also lacks a few important functions.

There should be a separate section in the admin for management of all system mails.
In my case, I would want to control the following:
1) Comprehensive clickable list of all system mails (no actual mail content in this screen)
2) A disable checkbox at all mail templates (so it wont be send at all)
3) A section to setup an email header and footer (for banner, links and disclaimer)
4) Ability to control if the mail is send to external mail address, internal mailbox or both

Optional ideas:
1) A mail theme selection menu (to fit the template/theme of your site)
2) Automatic code conversion from html to txt (it’s a hassle to do everything twice for each language)

Skadate is a dating platform but it has a lot of extras that dont belong with a dating site. There is absolutely no need for blogs, groups, music, forums, classifieds... etc. That belongs in a full blown social networking site.

As it is now, its too messy, too many things which dont belong to a only dating site which most of the buyers are interested in.

On a sidenote, I would say that events are very relevant and somehow have not gotten any attention in development. Events are another way people meet and connect, and should be a part of a dating version.

So to sum up, offer two versions, one for dating only and another for social networking, that way ones who are looking for dating get exactly what they want without all the extras which just make it too much and complicated in rewmoving in graphic design and admin panels.

One thing lacking about skadate is the amount of photos not visible throughout the website, logged in or out. Members should be seeing photos even when they are not searching profiles. Let's take an example, when I look in my mailbox and I don't have any messages, I am more inclined to logout of the website. But if there is a horizontal/vertical display of member pics (in the mailbox page) that I may be interested in then I may click on the pic and stay on the website longer.

These horizontal/vertical photos should be displayed by online or last online activity. This way members will have an easier time finding someone to instant message with or get a response quicker when they send a regular message.

A member that see's other member photos while on the site will stay on the site longer. It's like advertising your own website within your website, similar to plentyoffish.com. Plentyoffish.com is always showing member photos throughout the website and makes users more interested to stay on the site longer when they see an interesting photo. Plentyoffish.com is one of the most successful dating sites. Almost every page shows member photos.

You see how you guys have the feature of allowing the admin to display ads throughout the website via the advertisement control panel. Well there should be a similar feature to show member photos the same way.

You also have to improve on the gender display of photos. Let's say I am interested in searching for females and this is clearly selected in what I'm looking for in my profile. When I click on "members" then "new" members, I should only see new female members, not both new male and female members.

A male seeking a female should only be seeing female pics and never male pics, and vice versa. This should be standard throughout the website unless a member is searching for both genders.

I understand you also have the hotlist feature, but this is very limited. Plus some skadate users have only free memberships so we wouldn't want to use the hotlist.

I study around all the major big dating site , before buying ur script, i want to offer you a big new feature ! :)
The major problematic of search result in a dating site is to see faces we don't like and who repeted from the search result.
So the feature is quite simple but very usefull : Allow to user to delete a person of the search result ,
just in one click ; All major dating site had this feature , its really important for user to control
the search result and allow filtering people easely
